- Able to rack and unrack parts
- Able to safely and properly load and unload rack burn-off oven.
- Able to buff or repair parts
- Able to explain and perform proper cleaning and preparation of parts prior to coating.
- Able to demonstrate and explain color selection and part sequencing.
- Able to coat basic and off-line colors by use of spray gun
- Required to wear respirator while painting
- Effectively uses blueprints, manufacturing detail sheets and work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform proficiently on all responsibilities in the department
- Able to perform applicable waste treatment/chemical maintenance procedures
- Able to troubleshoot problems with the process/product
- Visually inspects material to prevent defects and scrap
- Responsible for quality of workmanship
- Provides written suggestions for continuous improvement
- Assists with the training of others
- Strict compliance to FDA and ISO control standards and record keeping
- Adheres to all safety policies
- Performs predictive/preventative maintenance as necessary
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in accordance with 5 S principles.
- Complete all required training applicable to assigned position
