+--------------------------------------+--------------------------------------+ | JOB TITLE: | Senior Systems Engineer | +--------------------------------------+--------------------------------------+ | POSITION FOCUS: | Lead systems team and coordinate | | | overall development activities, | | | primary interface to customer for | | | systems engineering. | | | | | | This individual will also drive | | | execution in compliance with Lear’s | | | ASPICE and ISO26262 compliant | | | development process. | | | | | | | +--------------------------------------+--------------------------------------+ | EDUCATION: | Bachelor's degree in Electrical | | | Engineering, Computer Engineering, | | | Computer Science or related field. | +--------------------------------------+--------------------------------------+ | CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: | - Lead the overall system | | | engineering on customer projects | | | - Key customer engineering | | | interface | | | - Manage system requirements | | | in DOORS. | | | - Define the key system | | | requirements that are going to | | | drive the system architecture | | | and partitioning. | | | - Analyze, clarify, specify, and | | | confirm the key requirements of | | | our products in the context of | | | the complete vehicle | | | system/sub-system, including | | | relevant sensors, actuators, | | | power supplies, loads, and | | | networked ECUs. | | | - An emphasis must be placed on | | | identifying, clarifying, and | | | confirming required failure mode | | | behavior, security, functional | | | safety, boundary/limit condition | | | behavior, behavior in | | | non-standard operating | | | conditions, load | | | conditions, etc. | | | - Define the electronic hardware | | | architecture for our product(s), | | | including uC and peripheral | | | selection, and further define | | | the allocation of system | | | requirements between hardware | | | and software | | | - Allocate system requirements to | | | the engineering disciplines | | | (hardware, software, | | | and mechanical) | | | - Track changes to customer | | | requirements and cascade as | | | required | | | - Interface with systems | | | engineering team at customer | | | - Define test boxes; define or | | | assist in the HIL test | | | development | | | - Define and execute | | | hardware/software integration | | | tests, including verification | | | against the Lear | | | hardware/software | | | interface spec.
