Role Purpose: Setup Machinery to operation and ensure that they are properly working and producing molds to meet product quality standards. Responsibilities: * Set-up and cycle machines in a safe and efficient manner * Follow proper set-up and cycling procedures as per work instructions * Troubleshooting on presses, making minor repairs as required * Repair and maintain molding guns when required or directed * Transport and store molds using forklift * Work with maintenance and Quality control to maintain process control * Perform minor repairs on molds and machines * Identify when major repairs are required on presses and molds and advise supervisor * Keep work area, mold storage areas, pre-setup area and equipment areas safe, clean, and organized. * Complete all paperwork accurately * Participate in cross-functional teams and aid in the training of new employees * Participatie in the 5S program Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent plus post-secondary training in technical courses (hydraulics, pneumatics) * Minimum 2 years related set-up experience * Forklift license * Excellent mechanical ability and working knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics * Ability to do heavy lifting as required * Able to work independently and in a team effort * An understanding of paperwork required and the ability to complete it accurately * An understanding of the importance of cycle speeds Rate of Pay: $15.50 per hour plus shift differential.
