Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate and maintain equipment per suppliers recommendations and standard operating procedures. * Prepare asset care preventative maintenance schedule and strictly follow schedule. * Update Factory Supervisor and Manager with daily reports. * Perform facility maintenance and keep inventory of all utility equipment and materials. * Perform troubleshooting duties under supervisors direction. * Maintain a safe work environment by practicing company policies, standard food safety (HACCP)/OSHA guidelines. * Perform general utility maintenance duties on facility/ factory * Assists in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures * Performs electrical work such as replacing light bulbs and fuses * Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facility and production equipment * Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. * Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties * Diagnose and perform minor maintenance and repair on the production machines * Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas * Perform other duties as assigned by supervision Job Requirements * A high school diploma, or GED. * Technical degree in mechanical course of study preferred, or relevant experience. * 1+ years of utility experience in a factory setting * Experience installing and buying equipment preferred. * Active boiler license is helpful but not mandatory. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Computer literacy with basic Microsoft and internet programs for communication with other departments. * Maintain excellent organization and have high attention to detail. * Ability to accept direction and have a desire to work as part of a team.
