We are recruiting candidates who attend college/university in the Louisville, Kentucky area for a Year-Round Finance Internship. The Year-Round Finance Intern will work 20-25 hours per week during the semester, with a potential for increased hours during the Summer months. The Year-Round Finance Intern receives hands-on Finance experience, exposure to strategic initiatives, and lessons in the role Finance plays in achieving business objectives.

HOW YOU'LL CREATE POSSIBILITIES

• Perform Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting/Planning Activities.
• Participate in Monthly/Quarterly closing activities.
• Assist in Operational Finance activities with management.
• Update process documentation where applicable.
• Engage in Lean methodologies (digitization/simplification)
• Analyze financial data as required.
• Assist in other projects as required.
• This position is located in-person/on-site in Louisville, KY and does not offer housing nor relocation benefits
• The Year-Round Internship begins January 9, 2023

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO OUR TEAM

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a college student actively enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or related field.
• Must reside within daily driving distance of the Louisville, KY area
• Must commit to working year-round (minimum of 2 semesters consecutively)
• Must be able to work 20-25 hrs/wk on-site at the GE Appliances' HQ facility during the school year (around class schedules) and 30-40 hrs/wk during the Summer.
• Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0+ out of 4.0
• Must have a gradation date that falls between December 2023 thru May 2026
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office suite such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, & PowerPoint
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now, nor in the future, for this position.
