    JOB LOCATION: Prefer candidates based in the Central & Eastern Time zone . The candidate can either work from any of our Kantar offices (Hybrid model) in US or Canada or 100% remote from locations we do not have an office.

    ABOUT THE DIVISION

    MONITOR is our subscription-based consumer insights, foresights and strategy platform. We track key marketplace dynamics and critical shifts in consumer attitudes and values that are reshaping the operating environment for businesses and brands. The MONITOR product team uses consumer survey data, cultural trends, qualitative insights, and foresight frameworks to create content ranging from infographics and newsletters to comprehensive reports and presentations of our thought leadership. MONITOR tools and outputs provide actionable intelligence to strengthen brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and planning. We have four core products: U.S. MONITOR, Global MONITOR, Canada MONITOR, and Sports MONITOR. THE ANALYST WILL SUPPORT ALL FOUR PRODUCTS BUT FOCUS PRIMARILY ON HELPING TO GROW THE TWO NEWEST OFFERS: CANADA AND SPORTS. This position is a high-visibility thought leadership and product management position with significant potential for advancement as our MONITOR business is undergoing rapid growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The role will contribute to the development and writing of content, while also serving as the primary project manager for key product development innovation workstreams.

    Responsibilities include:

    • The majority of the role is writing and creating narratives using the interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data
    • Analyzing data, conducting secondary research, and curating qualitative insights to identify key insights with a focus on culture & trends for inclusion in product resources \
    • Writing product deliverables (e.g., infographics, newsletters, webinar presentations, trends reports, etc.)
    • Managing and updating project timelines for all Canada and Sports MONITOR resources
    • Interfacing directly with the product and design teams on proofing, publishing, and distribution of deliverables
    • Maintaining and updating senior leaders on KPIs for the product, including but not limited to sales, renewals, pipeline and client usage statistics
    • Supporting account management and consulting teams in using MONITOR resources with their clients
    • Supporting platform analytics to better understand client engagement
    • Contributing ideas for product and deliverable innovation to accelerate growth and retention rates

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

    • AROUND 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE: Exposure to consumer insights and trends, brands and marketing, or market research a plus.
    • ANALYTICAL EXPERTISE: Ability to analyze primary and secondary quantitative and qualitative data, identifying trends and patterns that capture valuable insights. Understands statistical output and basic research-related issues. Creative conceptual thinker. Sensitive and responsive to cultural differences among people.
    • CONSULTATIVE MINDSET: Understands marketing, innovation and strategic planning issues from a client perspective. Can take basic MONITOR generated ideas and concepts and turn them into recommendations and action steps that clients can actually use.
    • STRONG PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS: Capable of staying on top of complex projects with many moving parts, multiple deliverables and important deadlines. Creative problem solver who proactively suggests solutions when issues arise.
    • EXCELLENT WRITING, PRESENTING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Proven writing ability. (having previously published articles, reports, or thought pieces a plus). Experience with writing, editing and delivering major presentations and reports. Capable of presenting ideas in a clear and compelling manner to a lay audience. Capable of producing professional, error-free business writing.
    • FAMILIARITY WITH THE CANADIAN MARKET AND THE U.S. SPORTS LANDSCAPE ARE HIGHLY PREFERABLE. As an Analyst, you'll primarily support the development of Canada MONITOR and Sports MONITOR; an understanding of and passion for those two topical areas will greatly enhance content quality and credibility.
    • COLLABORATIVE APPROACH: Great people skills. Works well in cross-functional teams. Able to recognize and excite the best thinking in others. Inclusivity and diversity of thought is a core MONITOR value.
    • HIGH-LEVEL USER OF FULL MICROSOFT SUITE OF PRODUCTS. Capable of creating polished, error-free, and visually compelling PowerPoint slide decks. Capable of using PowerPoint as a storytelling medium. Comfortable with basic Excel functionality and analysis. Able to develop strong, professional narratives in Word.
