    Kantar is seeking a Compliance Director to support the North America Insights Compliance team!

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Overall responsibility for NA Insight Compliance with authority to make day-to-day, high-level decisions

    • Coordinate with the virtual team, assigning relevant responsibilities and ensuring timelines are met

    • Support distributed team in developing and maintaining Cyber Security, Privacy, data protection, and compliance frameworks to meet NA requirements

    • Being the voice of Global Insights Compliance and Cyber Security for the business

    • Client point-person for assessments/audits, MSA/contracts, and general client questions (CSQs)

    • Procurement for updating our supplier management process

    • Liaison between Global Cyber Security Team and client

    • Ensure Access Controls are maintained and coordinated for NA Insights

    • Tasked with building the pertinent network to address (Virtual Team)

    • Work with local departments/teams to ensure that data privacy, data security, and legal, regulatory, and client requirements are known, understood, and crafted into their processes/systems (ex. HR - background checks; CS & Ops - handling of PII; Facilities - physical access controls; etc.)

    • Work with the global technical teams for technical details if Cyber Security library details are not available, Help build CSQ toolkit/simplify the process for future

    • Ensure there are policies/procedures for all compliance-related matters and the business is educated regarding these requirements

    • Coordination of all client assessments (Questionnaires, WebEx)

    • Liaison with Global Compliance team to ensure local strategy aligns; global policies meet local needs and avoid redundancy.

    • Plan local communication and training needs and ensure they are delivered

    • Identify, document, and implement compliance/evidence checks needed across NA Insights

    EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:

    • A client-friendly person who understands Market Research and can learn the Kantar ways of working!

    • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to build consensus, push back when needed, and lead conversations; along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

    • Ability to identify and address Information Security improvement opportunities and engage effectively with the business to implement identified actions

    • Knowledge of Data Protection and other relevant legislation, and industry standards (ESOMAR/Insights Association), and its applicability in the business environment

    • Ability to understand and apply resources to ensure interpersonal compliance with industry, local, state, and global laws.

    • Be able to analyze contractual language and provide recommendations or work with an attorney to make appropriate changes

    • Pragmatic, able to balance security requirements with the need to operate efficiently

    • Able to train new or current employees on processes or information security objectives

    The salary range for this role in New York is $96,900.00 - 161,600.00 USD Annual. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
