    Welcome to Our Internship Program

    MarketCast will be hosting a ten-week Summer Internship Program from Tuesday June 4th to Friday, August 9th, 2024. Our Summer Internship program will be held 4 days a week (35 hours a week) working 3 days onsite in one of our Centers of Excellence: Culver City, CA and New York, NY.

    The first 3 days of our program will consist of an immersive bootcamp where you will have the opportunity to learn about who we are, the work we do, and how you’ll be able to add value and grow both personally and professionally. Attendance for the entire week is mandatory as part of your on-boarding training and learning & development.

    Data-Driven Research and Insights

    Our Media, Sports, & Entertainment Custom Research Team

    On the Media & Entertainment Custom Research Team, you’ll work on interesting projects from some of the biggest entertainment clients in the world, from movie studios to TV networks, to streamers. We specialize in large-scale exploratory studies, using a wide array of quantitative and qualitative methods to uncover the “why” behind entertainment consumption decisions.

    This opportunity will allow you to learn the ropes, dig deep into research techniques, and explore how to be part of a professional community!

    We’re looking for:

    • Someone who is passionate about movies and series -
    • Someone eager to jump in and learn every stage of the research / insights process - from soup to nuts!
    • Appetite to hit the ground running. Someone excited by the idea of learning on the job - absorbing and growing in real time. Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn the business
    • A strong eye for detail - sweating the small stuff is as important as the big stuff
    • Team players - we are stronger together and we work in groups
    • Creative thinkers - if you come bursting with ideas and can see patterns in data, we’re excited.
    • Curious minds, especially when it comes to people and what makes them tick
    • Strong communicators - written and verbal. Being able to find the right words to articulate the question, the story, and everything in between well, is a big deal for us

    It’ll be helpful if you have:

    • Previous experience in research - could be academically, could be in the form of internship/s - even if it’s a short stint, we’d love to hear about what you’ve already had exposure to
    • Familiarity with all basic Office applications; experience with or knowledge of research platforms is a plus

    Per the pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $19.00 per hour. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skill set, and any other factors MarketCast considers relevant to the hiring decision.
