    Description:

    Vivvix is looking for an IT security analyst who will be part of Cross Domain functional technology team and would be responsible to provide governance across advance technology platforms. The candidate will need technical background and acumen to uncover risk areas while working closely with architecture and engineering teams. Experience with information security governance is crucial to this role. Candidate should be comfortable to navigate through ambiguous situations to succeed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leads regulatory examinations and internal and external IT security audits as needed.

    • Maintains up-to-date baselines and for the secure configuration and operations of all external and internal applications and cloud assets.

    • Monitors all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations.

    • Reviews security logs and reports of all possible threats and intrusions.

    • Participates in investigations into problematic activity as it relates to IT security.

    • Assists in the planning and design of a robust enterprise security architecture.

    • Maintains enterprise security documentation (standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures).

    • Assists in the planning and design of an enterprise Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan, under the direction of the IT management.

    • Participates in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.

    • Maintains up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.

    • Recommends additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

    • 4+ year experience with in-depth information security expertise

    • Experience gathering evidence for controls to get certifications such as SOC2 or ISO27001

    • Experience evaluating risks with external vendors

    • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps/JIRA preferred

    • Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment

    • Exceptionally self-motivated with strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
