    WHO WE ARE SEEKING

    Kantar NA Retail, Sales & Shopper (KC RSS) is seeking a Consultant in Omni commerce. As a key client leader, the Consultant will be a future seller and a doer - responsible to support selling, managing and delivering projects by leading and developing long-term client relationships. S/he will build mastery of the full Kantar NA Retail offer, develop client leads, orchestrate project proposals and lead overall project management and delivery in conjunction with a team of Kantar consultants and analysts. IMPORTANTLY, THIS ROLE IS FOCUSED ON SOLVING THE GROWING AND DIVERSE SET OF OMNICOMMERCE AND ECOMM CLIENT CHALLENGES.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    The consultant is responsible to supporting selling, managing and delivering projects. S/he will develop project leads, set the vision for the "story", create proposals, and lead overall project management in conjunction with a team of delivery consultants and analysts. The consultant is a strong client leader, nurturing long-term relationships across functions and at various levels, expanding existing and selling new projects over time. The consultant will have the hunger, humility, and emotional intelligence to develop trusted client relationships and become the trusted advisor of key Kantar clients.

    As a consultant, your first priority will be to carry sold work while building your sales experience through time.We expect the new consultant to quickly master the entire Kantar RSS product offering in order to be able to effectively advise and sell the offer across a robust client base. This role will often partner with other consultants to grow in sales experience. Within the first year, the consultant should be able to work autonomously across the offer and client base.

    Specifically, the consultant is responsible for:

    • CLIENT MANAGEMENT. Help more senior consultants with client leadership, and grows to own them herself/himself. They are expected to build long-lasting relationships, becoming trusted advisors to the key client contacts. Consultant must be able to identify opportunities for new projects, qualify new business leads, demonstrate Kantar's capabilities to help solve their issues, and guide clients through to a sale.
    • PROJECT MANAGEMENT. Lead multi-faceted projects utilizing the various resources within Kantar NA Retail to provide customized solutions for our clients in a high quality, timely fashion. They set objectives and vision for projects and ensure resources understand deliverables and timelines.
    • INNOVATIVE THINKING. Understand client issues and how to optimally apply the Kantar NA Retail offer to solve the central business question. The consultant is creative and nimble enough to develop new approaches to address client issues if necessary. Thinking of new and creative ways to address problems is critical to staying relevant in an evolving competitive environment.
    • TEAMWORK/COMMUNICATION. As project leaders, the consultant must ensure that all consultants and supporting resources understand project scope, objectives, budget, progression, deliverables and timelines.
    • ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Over time, the consultant will be expected to invest time in developing both the evolving Kantar NA Retail offer and in developing our people through formal and informal training and coaching.

    CAPABILITIES

    The preferred consultant candidate will be a dynamic, highly innovative, consultative and hands-on business professional with 5+ years' experience and THE LAST 3 YEARS IN OMNICOMMERCE FROM A RANGE OF RELEVANT INDUSTRIES AND PREMIER COMPANIES. The range of desired backgrounds and experiences can include diverse disciplines, such as the below, from premier companies:

    • Ecomm Consulting, Tracking, or Data Analytics
    • eCommerce Business Leadership
    • Digital/Omni Sales/Category Leadership
    • Digital Marketing
    • Retailer Digital Merchant/Marketer

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    In addition to eComm, the Omnicommerce Consultant will be developing in the areas below.

    • Top-level sales, marketing, consulting and/or eCommerce experience at premier manufacturers, service providers, retailers, or consultancies.
    • Experience across a diverse range of verticals, including but not limited to, Technology, Financial Services, Health Care, eComm Strategy/Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Entertainment, Management Consulting, Transportation, Telecommunication, Traditional Retail, Service Agencies, Media, Automotive.
    • Mastery of a translatable multi-discipline skill-set - understanding sales, marketing, category management, organization performance, and insights.
    • Capability to leverage experience and existing network of contacts that could be readily reached as a potential Kantar NA Retail client.
    • A consultative operating style with strong presence and superb oral and written communications, presentation, listening and influencing skills.
