    ABOUT THE TEAM

    The US Pricing Team is responsible for providing costing/pricing for all Qualitative research opportunities submitted by our Commercial & Client Strategy team. The Pricing Team is part of the Qualitative Operations pillar and reports into the Commercial Performance/P&L Management team.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As Pricing Manager, you will utilize research knowledge, employ good questioning and communication skills, and work closely with Commercial & Client Strategy to understand the overarching client business need to provide best in class research design recommendations, cost, and pricing in a timely manner. It will be essential to build an advisory relationship and develop/maintain trust and credibility with the people you work with and be a confident authority when interfacing across the Qualitative Practice, regions, domains, and other practice areas.

    • PRICING QUALITATIVE RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES: Leverages expertise to manage a breadth of complex pricing opportunities to optimize profitability, and overall value for individual products and proposals on an ongoing basis.

    • QUALITATIVE EXPERTISE: Leverages knowledge of qualitative projects, processes, digital platforms, and deliverables to advise on opportunities and best practices in pricing and execution that will enhance the Practice's overall commercial position.

    • PROPOSAL SUPPORT: Supports the design and delivery of qualitative research proposals and the implementation of pricing strategies and tools for clients and prospects to optimize profitability and overall value of engagements. Has a working knowledge of various types of quantitative research with the ability to "connect the dots" and bridge the role of qualitative in integration with quantitative new business opportunities.

    • RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: Successfully navigates across Kantar's domain/region/global teams to build strong relationships, elevate, and integrate qualitative within the organization, and nurture growth. Expands relationship touchpoints with internal clients and stakeholders to advocate for the team.

    • LEADERSHIP AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: Leads by example and builds engagement among colleagues and cross-functional partners by demonstrating Kantar Winning Behaviors , communicating positively and consistently, and providing candid feedback for growth and improvement.

    QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES

    • A minimum of 2-3+ years' experience in similar area of responsibility (e.g., prior pricing experience and/or qualitative/quantitative project management experience preferred)

    • Strategic thinker with market research (or supplier) knowledge/experience

    • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and conscientious of data accuracy and timelines

    • Ability to partner with internal, external, and cross-functional teams

    • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple requests at a time

    • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Self-managed team player with passion for team success

    • Located on the West coast or open to working West coast hours
