    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    A Project Manager must understand their clients' businesses and research needs, be able to design domestic qualitative research initiatives to meet those needs, and execute those projects to ensure best in class project implementation and client service.

    PRIMARY DUTIES:

    • Leverage expertise to implement best-in-class domestic project management.
    • Proficient in designing, recommending and supporting domestic qualitative research solutions - working cross-functionally in a consultative, client-centric environment.
    • Leverages knowledge of qualitative projects, processes, and deliverables to advise on opportunities and best practices that will enhance the Practice's overall commercial position.
    • Successfully navigates across Kantar's Domain/Region/Global teams to build strong relationships, elevate and integrate qualitative within the organization. Expands relationship touchpoints with internal clients and stakeholders to advocate for the team.
    • Builds engagement among teammates and cross-functional partners by demonstrating Kantar Winning Behaviors, embodying Qualitative team values, and communicating positively and consistently.

    NECESSARY SKILLS

    • 2-3 years of experience in marketing research and project management and a deep knowledge of and appreciation for the value of qualitative research and potential connections to dovetail with quantitative work.
    • Knowledge of and superb executional experience with the resources required to set up and run qualitative projects flawlessly
      • Recognizing any potential technical challenges that might arise
      • Accessing the right support when needed
      • Resolving technical issues that may present challenges in the use of the appropriate tools and platforms
    • Understanding business challenges and experience managing work with leading accounts.
    • Experience with writing screeners
    • Ability to creatively strategize regarding qualitative methodologies/project design to meet a client's business needs.
    • Strong project management, negotiation and problem-solving skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and external vendors.
    • Ability to think both analytically and creatively, exercise judgment and show initiative and leadership in the overall execution of Qualitative projects.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a focus on client service and superior time management.
    • A self-starter who can work independently and has the ability to think objectively and comprehensively; a proactive workstyle is a must.
    • Demonstrates accountability, reliability and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills as a team player and collaborator.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be advanced/proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word).
