    This position sits within MarketCast’s Content Insights group, which delivers quant and qual research for a range of film studios, streamers, and other entertainment clients.  The work covers the full content lifecycle, including concept and content testing, content positioning and content reaction (post-viewer) studies. This is a fast-moving world with clients commissioning projects at short notice, and MarketCast prides itself on exceptional client service, flexibility, super-fast turnaround and concise analysis of results.

    For this position we are looking for a strong communicator and excellent creative writer who is comfortable with questionnaire design and writing, client interaction, and able to build partnerships with key clients, working with them to develop strategy around production opportunities. This role will ensure that client requirements and objectives are covered by developing questionnaires, analysing materials and data, and reporting the findings in the form of written/designed deliverables, as well as both informal and formal client debriefs.  Some project set-up will be required, working with the Project Management team.

    This is a central position within a dynamic team, covering both US and non-US projects, with client exposure and the opportunity to move fast and develop as a key client resource and leader within the company.

    We’re looking for:

    • A proactive attitude: self-starter, able to work without detailed supervision and take responsibility for fulfilling projects

    • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience (ideally with an entertainment focus)

    • Excellent writing, Questionnaire design and writing experience, PPT, and visual presentation skills

    • The ability to communicate and present confidently, both internally and with clients

    • Experience with quantitative techniques and research approaches

    • Someone who is passionate about entertainment—particularly movies and series—and tuned in to popular culture

    • The ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines

    • Someone who is able to take a flexible approach to work – prepared to do whatever it takes to get the job done on time and to a high level

    • Strong communication skills

    • Good academic qualifications

    It’ll be helpful if you have:

    • Interest in / experience of marketing, ideally for Media & Entertainment

    • International experience

    • Qualitative experience, including managing and/or moderating focus groups
