    JOB DETAILS

    Purpose:

    • STRATEGIC DIRECTION - Help drive the future technical direction of all systems within your area of responsibility.
    • LEADERSHIP - Ensure all team members are equipped with the support, skills and knowledge to perform to their maximum potential
    • PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Assume overall responsibility for the project management of projects in your area of responsibility
    • COMMUNICATION - Proactively promote the abilities and achievements of your team with interested parties

    Responsibilities:

    STRATEGIC DIRECTION

    • Define, develop, manage and communicate solutions roadmap ensuring appropriate capabilities and capacities as defined by commercial | offer needs.
    • Collaborate with relevant functional management to gain buy in and sponsorship of the strategy
    • Constantly & consistently work towards ensuring all systems are of highest user experience design as calibrated against external benchmarks and includes which includes user friendly, high performing, high quality & modern applications
    • Ensure project priorities are set in line with business needs and the strategy and ensure delivery of those projects.
    • Ensure global, regional and local strategies are aligned with Operational owners.
    • Re-evaluate program priorities as the business environment evolves, recommending adjustments to the roadmap as new priorities emerge
    • Develop metrics and establish a mechanism to track benefits associated with the program

    LEADERSHIP

    • Mentor, coach, motivate and build a positive culture among the team
    • Monitor work performed by all team members
    • Lead by example by setting high standards for yourself and your team
    • Maintain position descriptions for all team members
    • Develop and regularly monitor KPIs and development goals for all team members
    • Perform formal performance reviews every 6 months for all team members along with regular informal reviews
    • Make recommendations regarding salary levels and implement (or make recommendations for) additional reward programs
    • Source staff and consultants with the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience to fulfil program requirements, within a timely manner

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT & DELIVERY

    • Ensure a complete and thorough initiation and planning phases are performed for all projects, following company standard processes
    • Ensure key linkage and awareness with Offer & Operations for successful implementation of strategy and tools.
    • Ensure company standard processes are followed by all project team members
    • Perform regular communication of status to all team members and stakeholders
    • Monitor progress throughout all phases of a project/program
    • Manage and ensure resolution of all issues, including guiding project team members through decision making processes where necessary
    • Perform a formal closeout process at the end of all projects and communicate the results to interested parties
    • Ensure that the end result of a project fulfils the agreed requirements and meets the business needs

    COMMUNICATION

    • Communicate with stakeholders, the program purpose and benefits, and the services that will be delivered as a result of the program
    • Provide management with regular reports on the status of all projects and objectives
    • Participate in regular application and project status review meetings
