    Working Capital Manager, North America

    Remote USA

    This position will have accountability for ensuring the delivery, improvement, monitoring, understanding, accuracy, and consolidation of the Working Capital for the North America region. This role will work closely with Group NWC Manager, Group Treasury, Group F&A, Regional and Country controller on various aspects of the Working Capital and Operating Free Cash flow.

    The role requires a strong understanding of cash flow, Working Capital, excellent financial, accounting, and analytical skills, strong communication skills, along with the ability to work to tight deadlines and complexity of scope.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Accountable for all trade and non-trade Working capital positions, to maintain NWC at neutral and to ensure operating Cashflow is positive whilst growing revenues.
    • Providing monthly, ad hoc reporting & commentary on NWC balances and movements for management reporting across all countries and divisions.
    • Working with the business on payment terms discussions with clients and supporting on the assessment of finance solutions.
    • Encouraging a cash-aware culture across Kantar, through training, communications, policy setting and sharing good practices.
    • Working with Regional, local, Shared services and Group Net Working Capital Manager in helping to develop processes and systems to provide good working capital practices and insights to the Kantar Global Working Capital Policy.
    • Accountable for ensuring the region achieves their NWC targets that have been set.
    • Support the Group Net Working Capital Manager on month end reporting, ad hoc reporting and commentary.
    • Culture of continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of resourcing, processes, and controls across the NWC function.
    • Ensure adherence to Global NWC rules. Support Group NWC Manager on identifying and driving opportunities to improve working capital which come through the cash forecasting process.
    • Supporting any Working Capital projects across North America and aligning on global policy and processes.

    The skills & experience needed

    To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

    • 3+ years validated experience with cash flow, Working Capital, and accounting
    • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent
    • Confident in situations of challenge/conflict and ability to reach resolution
    • Excellent analytical skills and financial competence
    • Accountable and follows through on commitments, even in challenging circumstances
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Operated in complex matrix environment and able to inspire confidence at the center whilst working collaboratively with the local business to help them be successful in the market preferred
    • Knowledge of factoring preferred
    • Experience of working in a similar industry or a project/contract-based organization preferred

    The salary range for this role in Georgia is $90,100-150,100/year. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
