Background: The Customer Care Coordinator will work within Agri Beefs Marketing Department under the direct to consumer segment. This segment specializes in marketing premium beef and pork products direct to consumers via the website www.snakeriverfarms.com. Essential Duties: Exemplify leadership, communication, time management and team building skills when working with other team members to proactively evaluate the vision and strategy of the company and use insights on how best to achieve these goals. This is an entry-level position in a quickly growing, direct to consumer segment presenting an excellent learning and growing opportunity for the perfect candidate. As the primary front-line customer contact via phone, email and web chat, assists customers and attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions. Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution. Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs. Assists marketing activities to connect customers with Agri Beefs brands. Assists with updating merchandising and content of websites, as needed. Finds, tracks and maintains a record of competitive promotional campaigns. Studies industry data and trends and helps identify leading sources, blogs, etc. that influence our target audiences. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications. Maintains a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis. Requirements Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism and/or Business preferred but not required. 1+ years of experience in a customer service or help desk capacity preferred. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the internet and online retail, as well as the opportunity to provide quality products to our customers. This person will thrive in implementing new programs in a team environment. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills are required.
