CA 92121 American Specialty Health, Inc. is seeking a Data Entry
Examiner to join the Fitness Network Management department. The overall
purpose of this position is to enter data from fitness applications, and
other related documents, into the fitness database for all fitness
networks. The representative is responsible for the accurate review and
input of data. You are invited to learn more about American Specialty
Healths events on our events page. Responsibilities * Processes fitness
applications daily according to departmental standards with error rate
not to exceed .5% per day. * Accurately reviews fitness applications to
verify necessary information. * Searches PROMIS database for existing
fitness records before building new records as applicable. * Accurately
enters all fitness data from fitness applications into PROMIS. *
Performs second review of tax identification and address information for
100% accuracy. * Completes Fitness Center Profile data and image
collection process for all applications entered * Forwards any complex
issues to PCS Rep 2 or Lead for research and resolution. * Provides
backup for other administrative reps within the department. * Handles
necessary administrative duties to properly support, document and
resolve fitness inquiries from Manager. * Maintains confidentiality of
fitness files, network participation data, fitness records/documents and
all discussions relative to recruiting, contracting, and any contracting
processes. * Performs updates associated with maintaining fitness
related records, including but not limited to: tax id, address,
contract(s), reimbursement, amenity, discounts, networks, and
demographic changes. * Processes requests within specified turnaround
times in support of Managers expectations; notifies Manager prior to due
date if TATs cannot be met and when notified of an error or barrier to
adding or deleting information. * Keeps informed of all contract/network
specific arrangements affecting fitness records; loads contracts to
fitness records according to service area eligibility. Qualifications *
High school diploma required. * Minimum two years computer experience
including word processing, database management and spreadsheets. *
Minimum 8,000 - 10,000 keystrokes per hour. Core Competencies *

solutions. * Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters.
Mobility Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time.
Physical Requirements Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel
and/or objects. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form.
Ability to travel within the facility. Capable of using a telephone and
computer keyboard. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. Environmental
