More than an internship, this is an apprenticeship. Interns who are accepted will build a profitable and sustainable local marketing agency from the ground up as part of our national network of independent local business marketing agencies. We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded students and recent grads with interests/experience in Social Media, Internet Marketing, and Local Business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with a team of other interns and attending online meetings
• Working with the company officers in individual coaching/mentoring sessions
• Learning our proprietary marketing software for lead generation and marketing services
• Tracking your time and project hours with our online tracking system
• Contributing to product development
• Making personal contacts with local business owners
• Utilizing networking strategies for growing your agency
• Abiding by company best practices and etiquette

Note: Interviewing will begin immediately. The position begins in mid-May.

• Past experience has shown that this will be a competitive application process.

• Applicants who are invited to an initial interview will be given a task to complete within 3 days prior to a second interview.
• We are looking for Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship Studies and related majors to apply, and we also encourage Liberal Arts students who have the interest to apply as some of our most successful interns have come from the humanities.
• You should be positive, environmentally aware, ambitious, internet-savvy, a team player and possess great social skills.
• Sales experience is helpful but not required.
• You should also be interested in making good money.
