    Job Details Requisition Number 18-0074 Post Date 11/15/2018 Title Technology Intern City Erlanger State KY Description KENTON COUNTY AIRPORT BOARD invites applications for the position of: Technology Intern CLASS SUMMARY: Supports the Technology Department as directed to continue the development of the MyCVG.net web portal. Responsible for working with the Technology Department and various operating departments to identify the content to be published on MyCVG.net and work with the Technology and operating departments to migrate the content to the appropriate locations. This role also anticipates assistance with the refinement of planned Policies and SOPs used to operate and maintain MyCVG.net as well as other sites such as KCABnet. and www.cvgairport.com to ensure a expeditious and comprehensive transition so that established Content Editors have a good basis for transition to them. This effort also contemplates the development and refinement of training for Content editors based on learning through this process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department. Work closely with department leaders identifying documents to be available on MyCVG.net. Convert documents to web-friendly adobe PDF type and upload to web site. Arrange content and web pages in a meaningful and organized way; Work with designated Content Editors to impart knowledge of how to utilize the systems and the best methods possible for future migration and additions to the data being displayed. Work with beta users (directly and indirectly) as needed to improve the use and functionality of MyCVG.net. Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Junior/Senior seeking a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Hospitality, Website Development or other related field to the area of assignment. LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Drivers License. Maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance. KNOWLEDGE OF: Adobe products, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint; Data analytical tools, informatics, and resources; Website development / management tools; Project management. SKILL IN: Clearly and effectively communicating, negotiating and advocating, both orally and in writing; Use of a variety of computer- based technologies including word processing and spreadsheets; Demonstrated skill in analysis and evaluation; Demonstrated skill in use of independent judgement; Establishing and maintaining effective, fair, cooperative, collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external colleagues, peers, work teams and workgroups. ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: walking, talking, hearing and seeing. Light Work: exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force to constantly move objects.
