    Event Coordinator Intern CITDEX - New York, NY 10002 Part-time, Internship Description CITDEX, the worlds leading end-to-end solution in helping businesses in token sales and the creation of digital assets, is looking for Event Coordinator Intern interns for our New York's Office to start as soon as possible. This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week, and will focus on event management and communication for Blockchain related project. The candidates we look for have a winning combination of deep technology or market expertise, business acumen, structure, drive, ambition, honesty, generosity and excellence. Responsibilities - Manage all project delivery elements within financial and time constraints, including event planning, design and production. - Partner with clients to identify their needs, understand requirements for each event and ensure customer satisfaction. - Book venues and schedule speakers. - Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost. - Negotiate contracts with vendors prior to closing any deals. - Hire personnel as needed to meet event requirements. - Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, etc.). - Complete final checks on day of event to ensure everything meets standards. - Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems. - Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations. - Conduct pre- and post event evaluation and report on outcome. Requirements - Portfolio of successfully managed events (meetings, parties, corporate events) - Outstanding customer service ethic and high quality expectations - Advanced communication skills, including writing, proof reading and speaking - Ability to manage multiple projects independently - Strong problem solving, organizational, project management and planning skills
