Are you the person in your group always making fun weekend plans for your friends? Are you always in the know about the latest trends and local events? Are your pictures and posts that good that everyone is always “liking” and commenting on what you're doing? Are you comfortable talking to people you don’t know, and making friends easily?
If so, The Campus Agency is hiring Event Ambassadors for CollegeFest, the largest back-to-school event in New England! We’re looking for influential, socially connected students who love bringing people together to work with us this Fall to promote CollegeFest on campus.
Your goal as an Event Ambassador will be to promote awareness of the event and encourage students to RSVP and attend the event. You’ll create engaging social media content, work with your school's’ media outlets, and leverage your connections to find unique ways to create buzz around the CollegeFest event.
Event Ambassador Responsibilities Include:
- Become an expert on all things CollegeFest
- Drive traffic to the CollegeFest website/RSVP page
- Think creatively on how to reach as many students from your university as possible
- Communicate regularly with your manager and other CollegeFest Event Ambassadors
- Post to social media about the event
- Distribute printed materials around campus
- Table on-campus to promote the event (if allowed)
- Attend any promotional events near your school in the weeks leading up to the event
- Attend CollegeFest at Fenway event
- Qualifications
Required:
- Must be a current undergraduate student as of Fall 2017
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Being enthusiastic and professional are required
- A passion for social media and the ability to create engaging content are a must
- Aware of your campus’ hot spots, cool events - both official and unofficial
- Must exhibit an outgoing attitude, ready to tell the CollegeFest story and excite others!
Preferred:
- At least 1,000 followers on at least one of the following social networks: Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter
- Prior field marketing experience or brand ambassador experiences are a plus, but not required
- CompensationPaid Position - Plus opportunities to earn performance based bonuses and other cool incentives! Other Details: - Work commitment is 3-5 hours per week for 4 weeks - Must be eligible to work in The United States
