Clearstate aims to further augment its dynamic team by seeking high calibre and talented individuals keen to grow their career in healthcare business advisory. We are currently seeking a Healthcare Intern to support our project teams on execution of strategic commercial research consulting projects for our healthcare clients. This position would be based in New York City, New York and has the potential to convert to a full time analyst position based on the successful completion of the internship and meeting key performance indicators. Accountabilities In the role you would be expected to:Work as part of a cross functional and geographically diverse team to deliver on large scale, global healthcare projectsConduct detailed secondary and primary research for analysis on each projectSystematically organize and present the information to best extract strategic insights and conclusionsSupport fieldwork, vendor selection and managementSupport business development initiatives through the drafting of white papers and supporting documents for pitches, as well as in the organization of business development road shows or meetingsSuccessfully interact and deliver projects to clients under tutelage of project team members Experience, skills and professional attributes To succeed in the role you must have: A Bachelors degree from top tier universities, preferably Science major with evidence of outstanding academic achievementWorking towards Masters degree a plusStrong Microsoft office skills in powerpoint and excelExceptional command of written and spoken English, with additional language skills a plusPrevious evidence of interest or experience in healthcare including a basic understanding of health systems and stakeholder mattersCommercial business acumen and understanding of basic business frameworksFamiliarity or experience with qualitative or quantitative market research techniquesHighly analytical, organized and meticulous You will be able to demonstrate: Strong team player and self-starter attributesAptitude for logical problem solvingComfortable with ambiguitySuperior communication skillsExcellent people skills, with the ability to work well with people across all levels in the organizationAbility to work independently and among teams, in a fast paced team structureA proactive attitude and have shown resourcefulness in conducting research of hard to gather factsHigh business acumen with versatility to think inside and outside of the box
