    Public Relations Intern (Fall 2018), Kansas City Position Overview and Responsibilities Fall Internship Late August to Late December Deadline for submissions: June 15, 2018 FleishmanHillards Kansas City office seeks an Integrated Marketing/Communications Intern to join our team. We welcome candidates from a variety of majors and backgrounds, from those grounded in communications to those that support our practice groups of Brand Marketing, Healthcare and Food & Agribusiness. All candidates must be motivated self-starters with previous communications/PR experience. Primary responsibilities will include research and analysis reporting, traditional and social media content development and outreach, and writing and special projects. Tasks performed by the Integrated Marketing/Communications Intern may include but are not limited to: * Research (for current clients and new business prospects) * Results measurement and monitoring (traditional and social media) * Targeting and pitching media (traditional and social) * Writing media and/or client materials * Social media analytics reporting and content management Qualifications * Must have completed junior year of undergraduate study (first consideration given to graduating seniors and recent graduates) * Qualified candidates will have completed at least one relevant PR/marketing internship * Must have prior leadership experience through collegiate, professional and/or community organizations * Must demonstrate strong writing and interpersonal communication skills * Must demonstrate an understanding of the evolving PR/marketing landscape (online and offline) * Able to manage multiple projects across a variety of teams/clients and consistently meet deadlines * Available to work full-time in the Kansas City office Job ID: 3264 * Location: Kansas City * No. of Positions: 1 * Experience: 0-1 years
