    FMG is seeking an intelligent and motivated research associate to join our Military Workplace Climate research team. This individual would work in a researcher role providing expertise in the development, execution, and analysis of large-scale surveys for the Department of Defense workforce.  This job is best suited for an individual who enjoys working closely with clients, managing large-scale projects, and prefers working in a cooperative environment.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Overseeing tasks in support of the design, development, and execution of large-scale surveys examining topics such as ethnic/racial discrimination, gender discrimination, ethnic/racial harassment, sexual harassment and sexual assault in the military.
    • Working closely with clients to understand their needs and research goals, manage their expectations, and provide continuous support.
    • Managing several concurrent task and deliverables to meet the large project goals.
    • Working collaboratively with internal teams, supporting a variety of projects, and coordinating project deliverables.
    • Preparing research reports/briefs for analyst and non-analyst audiences, written proposals, and other internal or external communications summarizing research methods, findings, and implications.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate degree in social science field such as survey methodology, psychology, sociology, public health, or other related fields.
    • A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate applied experience working with survey research projects.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and maintain client relationships.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully complete contracts, meeting client standards for deliverables and completing work on-time and within available budgets.
    • Demonstrated experience leading research studies.
    • Demonstration of strong verbal and written communications skills.
    • US Citizenship is required due to clearance.
