Description: 2019 Internship Program Overview As a part of the Hennessy Industries Summer Internship Program, students have opportunity to advance their strengths and interests. This program allows participants to network with leaders and to build transferable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication. Each internship assignment is a 12-week program (late May - early August) in which you will assume responsibility on challenging projects and see them through from strategy to implementation. The program culminates with a report-out presentation to a group of Leaders and Executives. 2019 Marketing Intern Summary The Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting cutting-edge integrated marketing strategies, while learning fundamental marketing skills. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team through all of the stages of a marketing campaign. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. Essential Functions + Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock-ups, e-mail campaigns, online promotion, etc. + Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials + Assist with fulfillment of marketing offers + Help organize marketing events and execution of trade shows + Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials + Perform analysis of marketing and sales data + Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline + Provide support to social media efforts + Maintain tracking report of Hennessy and competitor public relations activity + Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns + Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks + Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) + Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Position Specific Qualifications and Requirements + Must meet the Hennessy Internship Program Application requirements + Must be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related major + Must possess solid MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) + Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills + Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms + Ability to multi-task and take initiative + Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly + Experience with content creation a plus, even if not professionally + Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Google Analytics and Google Adwords) Internship Prog ram Requirements In order to submit an application for the Hennessy Industries Summer Internship Program, applicants must meet the following requirements: 1.
