If so, our office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is now hiring a new Intern to help bring innovative advertising campaigns to life in the Baton Rouge, LA area! The Graphic Design Intern position is responsible for the creative process by working with the sales team to provide artwork for new and existing clients as well as communicating with clients and printers to ensure the artwork is aligned with the client’s strategy.
This is a part-time, paid internship at $15 - 16 / hour with a Monday - Friday work schedule. Hours will vary depending on the candidate's school schedule.

Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work
Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
Proficiency in Adobe Suite software
Ability to learn software applications quickly
Able to work independently and act on own initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required
Must be in current pursuit of Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
Concentration in Graphic Design, Advertising, or Marketing preferred.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Create and design visually appealing and functional structure artwork, ensuring the designs are “outdoor friendly” while adhering to schedule requirements in a timely manner. Includes working with clients to convert their current designs to effective outdoor designs, and helping clients with sizing and translation issues when providing their own artwork
Work with other markets to promote and produce campaigns for new digitals and/or PowerPoint presentations
Manage special requests and/or designs that require special attention
Communicate with the printers on uploading art, confirming art dimensions, and confirming advertisement dimensions
Operate telephone as a receptionist to answer, screen, and route calls for the office; relay messages
Process outgoing mail and receive deliveries
