    Administrative Intern Joie de Vivre Counseling and Therapy, LLC - Atlanta, GA Full-time, Part-time, Internship Joie de Vivre is a mental and general health practice with two locations in Atlanta and Brookhaven, Georgia. Joie de Vivre provides integrative and holistic informed counseling and therapy services and is dedicated to helping women live happier more fulfilling lives through counseling and holistic services that support the health of the mind and body. SUMMARY: The Administrative Intern will directly assist the Company as a whole with a wide range of projects related to everyday operations of Joie de Vivre Counseling and Therapy. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to counseling and psychology, and apply them in a professional setting. The intern will gain a better understanding of the role that Administrative Assistant can play in an organization, and be better prepared to work in any sector of a company. This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time orpart-time student enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program with eligibility for college credit. Internship will be unpaid and the intern will be expected to be work a minimum of 10 hours per week. The company is flexible regarding work times and days and will be glad to tailor a schedule that will work for all parties. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist Director in developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office. * Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events. * Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients. * Support the whole team to complete work tasks. * Complete intake assessments and paperwork. * Assist with scheduling appointments and billing. * Developing skills needed for working competently with culturally diverse populations. * Participates in department staff meetings, peer supervision meetings and supervisory sessions. Offers constructive insight into issues discussed. Supports the working team through participation in department events. * Assist in the development of outreach workshops for the Atlanta community. * Future path of a full-time opportunity. MUST HAVE: * Educational concentrations in Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Community Health, Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations and Health Administration, preferred. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English. * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. * A team player with ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. * Highly organized, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Patient, empathetic, and show good judgment in pressured situations.
