LAMAR CORPORATE BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA INTERN - DIGITAL ADVERTISING - NATIONAL SALES Posted 7/9/2018 TEMPORARY/SEASONAL/OTHER POSITION DESCRIPTION The Digital Intern assists the Digital Services wing of our National Sales Department with, but not limited to, the following: Re-sizing and checking the accuracy of digital design files. Gathering, entering, and analyzing advertising data. Providing Proof of Performance (i.e. advertisement copies for customers). Confirming webcams. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Since this internship focuses on digital interactions, knowledge of social networking platforms is important. On the same note, excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical for success in this internship. Additionally, skills with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) are necessary for all applicants. The perfect applicant will be highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work, being comfortable in a deadline-driven environment. This individual should also be comfortable working independently and acting on their own initiative! EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must be in current pursuit of an Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field of study. Concentration in Graphic Design, Advertising, or Marketing preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The primary work environment is an office. The specific physical demands/requirements of the job include: lifting less than 25% of the time, reading, color distinction, acuity, sitting greater than 50% of the time, and talking.
