    LAMAR CORPORATE BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA DIGITAL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN SPECIALIST Posted 1/3/2019 FULL-TIME POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Purpose: The purpose of the Digital Advertising Campaign Specialist (i.e. Digital Innovation & Sales Strategy Project Associate) is to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects and programs initiated by the Director of Innovation and Sales Strategy. The Digital Advertising Campaign Specialist is also responsible for supporting sales activity initiated by the Director that meet Innovation and Sales Strategy guidelines. This individual may interface with National Agencies, Technology Vendors, Brands, the Communications Director, VP of Digital, Director of Business Systems, and Field Sales Management. The PA is the communication conduit between all interested parties. Essential Functions: Work alongside the Director of Digital Innovation and Sales Strategy on projects that meet Innovation and Sales Strategy guidelines. Assist in all phases of project management: project planning, implementation and monitoring results. Assist in maintaining all project related materials (e.g. action plans, tracking tools) Compile, analyze, and organize sales proposal information in accordance with customer standards and customer systems for all Lamar media types. o Demonstrate media measurement fluency for all media types o Set, facilitate and manage rate negotiations for all proposed media o Secure holds on requested media in order to allow customer time to complete paperwork o Create, proof and distribute contracts for campaigns as needed o Responsible for all RFP and contracted media deadlines. Oversee campaign execution after contract, utilizing appropriate support services/service protocols: o creative specifications o material tracking/posting/take down o post buy analysis o any special client requests Oversees project execution after contract, utilizing appropriate support services/service protocols: o Creative and technical specifications unique to project o Material tracking/posting/take-down unique to project o Post buy analysis; work with IT to develop unique project reporting as required by client and Lamar o Any special client requests Assist Director of Innovation and Digital Strategy with sales support requests that meet Innovation and Sales Strategy guidelines. Coordinates with colleagues in other departments for the purpose of ensuring efficient workflow. Maintains accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets and other documents needed to ensure that that there is a complete overview of the current status of projects and that information is readily retrievable. Maintains project and client records as needed. Ensures clients and stake holders are kept regularly informed as to the status of projects and otherwise communicate with clients and stakeholders as needed to ensure needs are met and issues are resolved. Composes or generates a variety of materials (e.g. reports, emails, letters, documents, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, training, providing written reference and/or conveying information regarding the status of projects, etc. Ensures that projects are delivered to clients error-free and as specified within established time frames. Prepares various reports that cover project budget status, billing reports, and other management related reports Perform all other related duties as assigned by Director of National Training and Development. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Intermediate ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management Strong oral and written communication skills in order to present projects to small groups of upper management or direct clients who may pose challenging or difficult questions Intermediate Ability to analyze information and covert related activities into a comprehensive work plan Intermediate Ability to analyze and interpret data in order to coordinate the preparation of data, sales and billing records Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment Familiar with Adobe Suite Required Intermediate Microsoft Excel EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications field. 2-4 years of related experience required. Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The primary work environment is an office. The specific physical demands/requirements of the job include: lifting less than 25% of the time, reading, color distinction, acuity, sitting greater than 50% of the time, and talking. The typical percentage of time spent traveling and spending nights away from home is less than 10%.
