Description The Meyer Brand Management Internship will give a broad overview of many marketing functions including: brand marketing, packaging, social media, digital marketing, public relations, presentation development, analytical reporting, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a recent college grad with a degree in Marketing or related field and has a desire to further develop real world marketing skills in a fast paced environment working with a seasoned team of Brand Management professionals. This opportunity is a full-time position located in the Meyer Corporate office in Vallejo California and requires onsite daily presence. Requirements Requires a bachelor degree in Marketing or a related field. Experience in retail, preferably in a consumer goods environment, is a plus. Must possess a strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must possess interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with Meyer employees, customers and vendors. Must be detail oriented and possess organizational and time management skills. Must have careful proof reading skills to ensure accuracy. Must be able to multi-task. Must possess time management skills and be able to meet deadlines. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to communicate effectively in English both in verbal and written formats in order to accurately proof read packaging and brochure copy. May be required to travel on occasion.
