Our Lamar Corporate office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is now hiring a NOC Administrator. This position is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting digital billboards.
On Call and weekend shifts are required one week out of every 10 weeks.

A day in the life:
Fielding customer issues including troubleshooting the problem, attempt to remotely fix problems and bring to resolution if possible, if not able to resolve remotely, dispatch field technical support to resolve issue
Identify display malfunctions and attempt to determine root cause
Ensure network operations are up and running through computer health, network health, and vendor diagnostics, and visual checks such as webcams
Opening and servicing call tickets
Working with field support and providing field technical support as needed
Vendor relations to include working with vendors to ensure adequate use of product, ordering of correct product, obtain brochures, and technical documentation.

Ability to organize work and manage time effectively

Technical aptitude to understand how things work
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Associates degree or some college preferred
Previous technical support experience preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The primary work environment is an office.
The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%
