    Experience Strategists (ES) at Zimmerman Advertising are curious by nature, focused on identifying trends and technology that help connect people with products and/or services; they contribute to a variety of efforts aimed at delivering innovative and connected experiences for our clients and their customers.

     

    They are ongoing consultants in all aspects of experience strategy, from communications planning to the development of experience maps, digital strategy/UX, campaign architecture, social media strategy, content and design. The ES team sits at the intersection of the Strategy, Media and Creative departments; working with all to ensure a consistent, innovative approach to client objectives or proactive agency thinking. It helps shape the customer experience – working in concert with a variety of teams within the agency – to inform content and experiences that have a positive and demonstrable impact on our client’s business.

     

    In this role, you should be prepared to lead or assist in:

    • Cultivating and supporting the growth of client insight
    • Championing customer insights among clients and internal teams
    • Helping to frame client business problems to provide context for the agency’s strategic, media and creative efforts
    • Partnering with analytics to understand current-state client data, as well as future-state data impact of proposed agency solutions
    • Thinking like customers to help define the experiences which best align to client objectives, or opportunities
    • Leveraging business strategy, customer insight, market insight, product/service design and technology into actionable experience strategy that will delight and serve customers
    • Advocating for the customer experience in conversations with internal cross-disciplinary teams, company leaders, and analysts to grow the influence of experience thinking

    Required Skills

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or other related field.
    • 6+ years experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Media, or Digital Strategy
    • Be passionately in tune with latest social media developments, online behaviors, and trends.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and current social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Google +,Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)
    • Experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans, strategies & roadmaps
    • Exceptional at building and presenting concepts/programs for clients and new business opportunities
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, networking, time management and interpersonal skills
    • Urgency and a strong attention to detail, specifically with regards to written communications
    • Strong command of the English language Strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency
    • Strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
