  • Responsibilities

    The Director, New Business is primarily responsible for generating qualified sales leads within existing and/or targeted clients in the automotive sector.  The Director, New Business leads the growth of the Automotive Division through the development and implementation of marketing strategies, sales management, product development, relationship management, distribution channel management, public relations, marketing communications, pricing, market research, and customer service.

    RESPONSIBILITIES Sales: 

    • Responsible for identifying key decision makers within clients, generating initial interest, and confirming a personal meeting with the client.
    • Schedule and lead new business meetings with prospects.
    • Generate new business proposals and contract for clients and negotiate them until contract is signed.
    • Prepare materials and presentations for new business meetings and for client presentations.

    Marketing/Management:

    • Lead the client onboarding sessions with account service team to define expectations and understand client specifics.
    • Working on ways to integrate new products with our traditional and digital media/creative efforts
    • Work with agency and client teams to ideate and prioritize new services that the company can develop and convert into new revenue streams
    • Be actively involved with all existing client relationships and be ready to act when senior management presence is requested by clients.
    • Brief and guide the creative department for all new business and Agency related projects.

    Required Skills

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 7+ years of proven sales/lead generation experience of advertising, marketing, media services solutions
    • Strong knowledge of the operations and functions within advertising and/or marketing companies, and the proven ability to sell solutions related to those organizations
    • Advertising, marketing, and/or media solution selling strongly preferred.
    • Experience and the ability to deal with all levels of management in large organizations (from middle management to "C" level.)
    • The ability to maintain a high sales call activity, and strong telephone prospecting skills
    • Be an energetic self-starter/self-motivator and possess an excellent knowledge of the industry marketplace and business drivers
    • Solid experience with desktop applications and CRM applications
