I am looking for an after-school babysitter for my 7 year old daughter starting in January. General job description: -Pick daughter up at PS 29 at 2:50 (or 4:20 on the day she has an after school class and watch her until I return from work generally by 6:30 or 7. -Help daughter with homework, give her snack and dinner, play games, go to park etc. -Set up playdates with other kids from school occasionally. -Take our very old very sweet french bulldog out for one short walk in afternoon to potty. We're open to professional sitters or college or high school students. Requirements: -Experience with kids. -Easygoing, patient demeanor. -Comfortable around animals (we have a dog and cat). -Good references. Nice to have: -Ability to babysit some evenings if I have work events. -Availability full time in the summer. I'm a single mom but Luca's dad is a very active co-parent and lives down the block from us - if I'm traveling for work ever the sitter would bring her to his house around 7. I'm super laid back and easy to deal with. Luca is a fun, kind of shy but very passionate kid. She had a full-time nanny until this August when I left my job and took a few months off at which point the nanny found a new family with an infant. Happy to provide references on us too!
