This is much more than an internship...this is your stepping stone to a successful career. We will provide all the training you need prior to the start of the internship as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching.

This summer, you will learn valuable skills in public speaking, sales and marketing, effective communication, organization and account management, and overall confidence and professionalism. Last year, we helped nearly half a million students in the southeast save hundreds to thousands of dollars at some of the best businesses in their college town.

We are currently hiring 4-6 outgoing students to serve as student sales representative to help us grow our coupon books and mobile app on the Baylor campus.

PocketMoney Sales Representatives responsibilities are:

• Visit and sign on local businesses around their campus while building the PocketMoney coupon book and mobile app at their university
• Cold calling and prospecting new businesses
• Signing on renewal clients if we are already at your university
• Attend daily team meetings at 9:00 am to discuss and plan your day
• Meet with a minimum of 30 businesses a day while building relationships with clients and presenting marketing materials
• Daily communication with management and send end-of-day emails on your day’s success
• Sign up the entire town to help all students save big!

Upon successful completion of our summer internship, you will gain access to our Career Partners Network which has helped thousands of college students land jobs and launch successful careers with prestigious Fortunate 500 companies in diverse industries.

We’ve formed relationships with recruiters at these industry leaders in their respective fields to help our interns get into the careers of their choice after graduation.

While we do provide in-person training at our regional training conferences before the start of the internship in addition to coaching throughout the summer, these are the must haves in order to be considered for the position:

• Must be social, outgoing, and love talking to people!
• Able and willing to dedicate 40 hours a week during the duration of the summer.
• Extremely organized and able to multi-task
• Self-motivated with the ability to set personal goals and meet deadlines
• Professional and personable manner, as you will be working with business owners while representing PocketMoney
• Able to take direction to learn and grow from some of the industry experts!
• Must be able to drive to, and attend, a 2-3 day regional training seminar in May
