  • Responsibilities

    The Sales Development Representative's responsibilities include generating potential leads, soliciting potential customers, facilitating sales, and connecting customers with the right salesperson. To be a successful Sales Development Representative, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical skills.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE:

    • Serve as a bridge between Marketing and Sales by generating, qualifying, and educating a continuous flow of new, prospective customers
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to implement demand generation initiatives and follow up/nurture leads
    • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars; set meetings for conferences
    • Collect and track market intelligence for the Sales team, organizing and categorizing sales lead information
    • Assist sales team in client collateral and sales meeting preparation
    • Assist in prospecting
    • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
  • Qualifications

    WHAT WE'RE OPEN TO SEEING:

    • 1-2+ years of business-related, client-facing experience or background in sales, marketing, consulting , media a plus
    • Project management and organizational skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
    • Ability to play a client-facing role and represent IAS in a professional manner
    • Motivated, passionate, and able to keep a positive attitude with a passion for growth
    • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms would be a plus, not a must
    • Prior experience with Inside Sales, B2B Sales, Lead Generation, Prospecting would be helpful, not not a requirement
