SOFWERX is a forum for accelerating delivery of innovative capability. It is also a forum to facilitate capability refinement through exploration, experimentation, and assessment of promising technology. SOFWERX is in the heart of Ybor City, at a neutral, easily accessible facility. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing and implementing marketing, business development and public relations plans Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including direct mail, print ads, networking, internet, social media, and developing new methods of marketing Provide clerical support as needed Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned REQUIREMENTS: - MUST BE US CITIZEN - Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited local University, with a major in business marketing or similar major  - Junior or Senior level, with current GPA of 3.0 or above - Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment - A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop) -Experience in Photography, YouTube Live, Video Editing, AV, WordPress and Social Media Management preferred. - Position requires a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 20 hours per week TIME COMMITMENT: Hours of operation are 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday thru Friday Must be available to work up to 20 hours per week during academic year BENEFITS: Receive direct supervision from the Business Manager or Office Manager Engage in employee events, such as team building Build resume and explore career options Apply skills and knowledge to the workplace Upon successful completion of internship, will be provided with letter of recommendation RATE of PAY: $12-$13 per hour depending on experience and year in school Opportunity for follow-on internship based on performance Job Type: Internship Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour Experience: * Graphic Design: 3 years Education: * High school Location: * Tampa, FL Required work authorization: * United States 1 day ago - save job
