Public Relations Intern StudioNation - West Hollywood, CA Internship www.studionation.tv Public Relations Intern (Los Angeles metro area) Role: We are seeking a Public Relations Intern, who is full of creative ideas and eager to contribute on a large scale. The intern will gain visibility into the inner workings and aspects of the public relations field, provide concrete deliverables and learn from top to bottom. In addition, the Intern will assist with the management of our artists, social media accounts, promotions, show and tour schedules, and recording arrangements to grasp a better understanding of PR form a music business perspective. Responsibilities * Fully support companys PR strategy and execute it in different phases * Work with team members to create and curate engaging content * Communicate and build relationships with current or prospect clients * Effectively utilize companys social media and blogs * Create and distribute press releases * Assist in administrative duties * Build and update media lists and databases * Schedule, coordinate and attend various events Perform research and market analysis activities Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must have an avid interest in music, knowledgeable about artists and genres, and an overall interest in learning about the music industry * Knowledge of social media sites and tools, and an active participant in social networking * Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks, highly organized * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel * Must have strong customer service skills * Must be a person of strong moral character and work ethic * Must be located in Los Angeles metro area. * Time commitment: At least 20 hours per week Job Type: Internship 1 day ago - save job
