    Job Description

    The MKTG Sport & Entertainment Social & Influencer Team is looking for someone to join our fast-growing content team. As the Social Trainee, you will ideate, produce, and execute engaging social content that resonates with fans and aligns with our client's social strategy.  Through extensive research, creative ideation and in-depth immersion across social platforms, you will gain hands-on insight and understanding of the social media discipline through a focus on sports and entertainment sponsorships. 

    Primary responsibilities will include: 

    • Concept and present short-form social video concepts that ladder back to brands’ overall sponsorship strategy, specific focus on Reels and TikToks 
    • Produce and / or edit mobile assets (CapCut, within social platforms)
    • Research and audit channels to identify relevant trends and opportunities for content that allows the brands to drive engagement and relevance
    • Research and develop high-level reports for the latest digital, social and mobile platform updates; develop POVs to share with team and clients
    • Support copywriting needs, specifically focused on social copy 
    • Assist in planning, organizing and routing content calendars for social programs
    • Support client social reporting and develop optimization strategies based on Goals
    • Support influencer marketing programs; including research on talent recommendations and content ideas for talent briefing
    • Some travel (including weekend travel) may be required based on account needs

    QUICK FACTS:

    • Program start date: January 13, 2025
    • This role requires two days on location in NYC, NY along with other days as needed.
    • This application deadline is September 30, 2024 at 4pm Eastern.
    • You will report to someone more senior on the team.
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.

    Qualifications

    • We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about all things social media and sports
    • Ability to self-produce and/or edit content across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) 
    • Hands-on experience creating a variety of content types across social channels
    • You are vocal, articulate and comfortable with copywriting
    • You think creatively and understand culture
    • Ability to identify trends and understands platform best practices

    Additional Information

    The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $19.23. Actual hourly pay rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
