The intern will work with our Content team to import, convert, design, produce, and test CAD "content" to facilitate the use of Vectorworks for our users. Responsibilities In this role, you should expect to: * Gain experience in CAD with 2D and 3D modeling using Vectorworks software * Study and research industry products needed for inclusion in Vectorworks software * Create, deliver, document, and improve Vectorworks' collection of user-facing content (CAD symbols, textures, attributes, etc.) * Document program defects * Review and help in preparation of product task briefs for features and feature improvement Qualifications Why do you want this job? Because you are: * A hard-working and dedicated college junior, senior, or recent graduate (no more than 6 months upon graduation) in theatrical production, fine arts, or technical design, or a related field. Experience in a technical field relevant to entertainment design or architecture may be acceptable * Analytical, with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize data and develop solutions * Creative, innovative, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and independently when necessary * A self-starter with the ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines Why do we want you? Because you have: * A GPA above 3.0 * Experience with CAD and other technical software * Strong communication skills and attention to detail * Background in event-planning or scenic design fields preferred * Prior experience with Vectorworks software a plus! Eligibility requirements for internships: * Internships requires working a minimum of 16 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week * You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program entering your junior or senior year, enrolled in a graduate program, or a recent graduate (no more than 6 months upon graduation) * This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant's qualifications.
