(MSE), located in Washington, D.C., is one of the largest integrated
sports and entertainment companies in the country with one of the most
diverse partnership groups in all of sports. MSE owns and operates five
professional sports teams: the AFLs Baltimore Brigade and Washington
Valor, NBAs Washington Wizards, NHLs Washington Capitals and WNBAs

development league team, isco-owner of aXiomatic, which has controlling
interest in global esports franchise Team Liquid, and also owns and

state-of-the-art training facility for the Capitals and EagleBank Arena
on George Mason Universitys campus. In 2018, Monumental Sports &
Entertainment will bring the Mystics and the G League team to a new
state-of-the-art Entertainment and Sports Arena being built by
Washington, D.C. and Events DC at the St. Elizabeths campus in Ward 8.
The Wizards will also practice there. Monumental Sports & Entertainment

Position Overview: The Washington Capitals seeks qualified candidates
interested in a future career in sports or entertainment for the
position of Digital Media Intern. Responsibilities: Assist Digital Media
team with day-to-day maintenance of Washington Capitals website. Help in
the creation and execution of Capitals social media strategy, using best
practices to drive engagement and conversation. Assist in the creation
and implementation of graphics for websites and emails such as ticket
offers, promotional nights, sponsorship messaging, etc. Assist in
shooting video for WashingtonCapitals.com. Assist in setting up and
breaking down press conferences. Assist in the tracking of social media
partnerships. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
Must be an undergraduate or graduate student. Must be able to work a
flexible schedule. Basic knowledge & experience in HTML. Prior
experience using NHL CMS a plus. Knowledge of video editing a plus.
Experience creating and editing graphics and images in Adobe Photoshop.
Journalism degree a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills
are a MUST. Reliable transportation and housing. We are an equal
