    Human Resources Intern **** Human Resources Intern As a WEX Health Human Resources Intern, you will provide quality HR recruiting and administrative support on a flexible, part-time basis to the HR team and Team Members. Youll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, make valuable career contacts, and get paid doing it. Responsibilities: * Coordinate Pre-Employment Processes * Post new positions on the WEX Health Career site and various external sites * Sort incoming resumes and reach out to candidates to start screening process * Coordinate candidate interviews * Initiate background checks and drug screens * Coordinate onboarding sessions and materials * Attend and assist in representing WEX Health at career fairs * Develop and Maintain HR Compliance Knowledge * Begin to develop a current knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations * Keep abreast of document retention requirements and new developments in the HR field * Develop a working knowledge of HR information databases and searchable resource * HR Administration * Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects * Prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents * Proofread HR documents including audits, marketing information, and handbooks * Prepare all packages to be mailed FedEx, Priority Mail, UPS * Teamwork * Participate in the WEX Health Culture Club to foster a fun and collaborative work environment * Work proactively with other team members * Prioritize activities for the best interest of the team when working on joint projects * Openly share new ideas and information with other team members * Properly handle requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation as needed * Must be a current student working toward a Business, Communications, or HR specific degree * Membership in a HR student organization preferred * Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people * Strong customer service skills * Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position * Ability to correctly make decisions involving client issues/ problems including when to escalate the problem * Exceptional written and oral communication skills * Excellent organizational and planning skills * Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team oriented environment * Detail oriented * Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook **Primary Location: **U.S.-ND-Fargo **Work Locations: ** **Job: **WEX Health **Organization: **WEX INC. **Schedule: **Part-time
