    The Program Assistant, Philanthropy is a part of PATH’s Fundraising Operations team within the Philanthropy department in the External Affairs division. This position reports to the Business Operations Manager, Philanthropy. Through strong administrative support, this person works collaboratively and strategically with the philanthropy team, external affairs colleagues, and finance staff.

     

    The ideal candidate is energetic, focused, well-organized, and flexible. You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and have a demonstrated track record managing multiple, complex projects. Familiarity with public health and/or international development beneficial.

     

    Position Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Support Salesforce management for Philanthropy team by maintaining and updating donor data and engagement activities

    • Act as gift accounting lead by regularly and accurately entering gifts into Salesforce and serving as point of contact for donation related questions from External Affairs and Finance teams

    • Collaborate with relationships managers to ensure customized and timely gratitude to donors

    • Support individual donor research, including leading weekly donor reviews

    • Lead administrative efforts for the Philanthropy team by maintaining organization and accessibility of team resources both virtually and in office

    • Maintain internal and external facing online profiles representing PATH Philanthropy

    • Monitor philanthropy email inbox for questions and inquiries from donors and potential partners

    • Provide support to Business Operations Manager, Director of Philanthropy, and relationship managers for ad-hoc projects as needed

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    This position requires an energetic, organized, detail-oriented, intuitive, professional team player with a track record of managing multiple complex requests. Additional desired traits and skills include:

    • 2–3 years of experience in an administrative support position or equivalent work experience.

    • Experience with donor management software: Salesforce Lightning, Raiser’s Edge, or similar systems.

    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, including proven ability to prioritize competing demands effectively and adapt easily and quickly to changing priorities.

    • Strong proficiency in both written and oral communication, with a high level of attention to detail.

    • Enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment.

    • Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams and stakeholders simultaneously.

    • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

    • Excellent interpersonal and social skills, and collaborative working style.

     

    Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

    REMOTE WORK:

    PATH continues to evolve to support our employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, most of PATH’s US based positions are temporarily 100% remote, within commuting distance to our PATH offices. When PATH transitions more broadly to in-person work, we will operate with a hybrid workplace model. Hybrid employees must reside within commuting distance to one of our PATH offices.     COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIREMENT:

    PATH has instituted a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all employees, interns, consultants, and temporary staff based in the United States.   • Qualifications

     REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience
    • 5+ years experience as a Sr. Traffic Coordinator / Traffic Coordinator with a focus on broadcast or digital / interactive campaigns
    • Must be computer literate with proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook/Express with the ability to learn new computer systems
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently
    • Strong attention to detail
    • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality
    • The ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization
    • Hands-on experience in creating estimate proposals preferred
