    In this position you will be responsible for leadership, management, and execution of a wide scope of operational processes and workflows, to include direction and development of the Implementation Managers and Implementation Coordinators.  The primary role and responsibilities will be to manage the cross-functional activities involved with the implementation phase for new clients and complex client renewals, and for overseeing the implementation of all client renewals or changes, new products, or other regulatory or vendor changes impacting clients. We will require active participation in developing project plans, outlining tasks to be completed, including time-frames.  We require expert operational knowledge as well as strong operational leadership ability.  This is a highly interactive position working with peers in many functional areas.  This position will help mitigate client risks and internal risks through comprehensive understanding of all downstream impacts.  This position is client facing and may require occasional travel.

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Develop, implement and/or improve client implementation policies, standards and procedures, which ensure overall consistency and appropriate security, quality, and integrity of client data.

    Partner with Client Management and Operational Units to ensure that client needs are clearly understood and setups are executed to support those needs.

    Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

    Analyze shifts in business models to determine downstream impact. Communicate impact and provide recommendations or adjustments geared towards supporting client and industry demands.

    Review and identify areas in need of improved operational efficiency. Provide enhancement recommendations and participate in planning and testing of those solutions.

    Act as consultative client liaison between all functional areas and client contacts (including client, broker and /or consultant parties).

    Provide clear direction, communication and guidance to Operations, Client Manager and client to mitigate project risks to all parties

    Obtain thorough understanding of client intent and communicate intent clearly to internal staff therefore leading to a successful implementation

    Ensure quality and service standards are met throughout the implementation process

    Ensure that operational processes are clearly documented, maintained, and stored in a shared repository. Processes should be documented in a way that provides clear direction to new staff and those that are being exposed to new responsibilities.

    Provide Weekly Status Reports on open items and issues to Client Management, local staff and other functions, as needed.

    Conduct post implementation analysis and create recommendations based on lessons learned.

    Provide support with day-to-day activities during times when team capacity has been exhausted.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years of experience in healthcare benefits and/or administration required
    • College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
    • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills required
    • Project experience with proven ability to lead multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously and meet deadlines required
    • Experience facilitating internal and/or client meetings and presentations required
    • Self-directed individual who works well with minimal supervision required
    • Ability to work effectively with clients, brokers, vendors and differing levels of co-workers including Client Managers and all levels of staff required
    • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, delegate assignments and make decisions with minimal supervision required
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate people and teams cross functionally to resolve complex issues within designated time frames required
    • Flexible; open to continued process improvement required
    • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint required
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business and occasional travel requirements required
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits and/or TPA experience preferred
    • 3+ years client implementation experience in health insurance or TPA organization preferred
    • Microsoft Project experience preferred
    • Previous presentation experience preferred

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, relevant experience
    • 2+ years experience as an Account Executive or related role in an advertising or marketing agency
    • Thorough understanding of the Client(s) industry and business
    • Client focused with a strong sense of detail and urgency
    • Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with people at all levels of an organization
