    What you will do

    As an intern you will support the Remote Operations teams with both new and in-flight projects, enabling and accelerating the time needed to bring them to completion. Under general direction, you will engage with connected assets teams across multiple business units to design, review and launch new products and product revisions.

    How you will do it

    • Become familiar with Johnson Controls software and programs such as Metasys, Verasys, Connected Chillers, Connected Controls and propriety systems to gain insight on processes and procedures.
    • Assists management with strategic and execution planning.
    • Assists in ensuring timeline is met by tracking progress against schedule and course correcting as needed.
    • Interprets process maps and provides suggestions for improvements based on customer and department requirements.
    • Documents data related to new and ongoing projects in an effort to validate effectiveness and provide grounds for improvements.
    • Assists in the development and review of processes and procedures related to projects on multiple teams within the Remote Operations Group.
    • Gather, prioritize, and define requirements for complex offerings which may include Hardware, Software, Services, and Marketing Promotions.
    • Collaborate with leadership in multiple departments to develop program roadmaps that address department and customer needs.
    • Creates reports and offers recommendations for improved operation of customer sites.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    What we look for

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
    • Pursuing a degree in Engineering
    • An effective communicator to all levels of the organization
    • Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
