    What you will do

    Our Electronics Technician Intern will build working prototypes, test equipment, troubleshoot electronic/electrical assemblies, and process device data from the lab and field trial site locations as it relates to Ruskin’s Air Measurement products. Our intern will then analyze the test results and create procedures used to improve quality and functionality.

    We work in a lab environment using state of the art equipment to build and test engineering prototypes.

    What we look for

    • Must have experience using multi-meters and fundamental knowledge of electrical circuits.
    • Previous exposure to oscilloscope, power analyzers, and AC/DC loads.
    • Ability to follow work procedures, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
    • Basic usage of production tools (solder iron, crimps, electric screwdriver, etc…).
    • Troubleshooting experience with electronic assemblies, cables, and chassis assemblies.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Basic computer skills using the Microsoft Windows operating system in conjunction with the following Microsoft Office modules: Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.

    Minimum Education and Work Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • An electronic/electrical technical school certificate or related field such as Integrated Circuits Technology preferred.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of electrical assembly experience preferred.
