    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    The Marketing Events & Trade Show Intern will provide administrative support to marketing and event initiatives and gain experience in a fast-paced marketing department. The Marketing Intern will assist in the contribution to the overall company marketing efforts focused primarily on events, trade shows and technical training. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of marketing and communications and be willing to learn and take on new tasks. Remote opportunity available.

    HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

    • Assist in implementation of event-specific marketing plans
    • Coordinate distribution of marketing support materials and manage distribution lists for various events
    • Assist in coordination of technical training courses, management of dealer rewards program, reporting, etc (North America, brand specific)
    • Take part in weekly departmental meetings
    • Develop and maintain global trade show & events calendar
    • Assist in shift of warehousing trade show materials
    • Assist in the creation of written content for emails, social media posts
    • Assist in the creation of marketing trade show kits for North American sales team
    • Assist in creating and maintaining accurate event records and reports
    • Contribute to the development of process improvements, inventory management, etc
    • Assist with CRM data entry and list maintenance
    • Administer various marketing and training administrative tasks
    • Take part in weekly departmental meetings

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR

    Required Qualifications:

    • Current Undergraduate student graduating no sooner than Dec 2022 pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism (or related).
    • Able to work part-time during the school year (20 hours/week) and full-time during school breaks beginning Feb 2022.
    • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadline oriented, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Self-starter who takes initiative, comfortable sharing ideas and suggestions and is highly reliable
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and follow-up skills
    • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
    • Professional demeanor
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
    • Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
    • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
