    What you will do

    Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Milwaukee, WI or remotere. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. As a part of the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, this position will have responsibility to work on global projects and partner with our Talent Acquisition Operations team to help drive a number of high-impact and strategic initiatives.  Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below. 

    How you will do it:

    • Participate in the Future Leaders Internship Programming events that includes but is not limited to: weekly professional development sessions, 8-week innovation challenge and a self-directed virtual learning journey and special events
    • Work on 2-3 enterprise global Talent Acquisition projects, through which you will:
      • Coordinate research with Subject Matter Experts to identify target audience’s training needs.
      • Support the creation of engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
      • Collect and organize data related to Talent Acquisition programs.
      • Conduct statistical analysis on the data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
      • Assist in developing strategies and action plans to implement improvements based on survey feedback and training data.
    • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with peers.
    • Attends and contributes to team meetings. Acts as a team player.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.

    Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2023 internship.

  • Qualifications

    What we look for

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university 
    • Pursuing an MBA
    • Currently a completing Masters Degree year
    • GPA requirement 3.0 or above
    • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills required.
    • Very strong PC skills; expert-level Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
    • Able to successfully adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities; able to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently and professionally.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
