What you will do

The UX Intern will be part of a web team responsible for the design of access control and video web applications. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it

• Assist with creating design deliverables, such as user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Research real business problems and apply User-Centered Design principles to produce intuitive experiences.

• Interview users to develop personas that give an accurate profile of our customers.

• Develop and maintain wireframes and specifications (both lo-fi and hi-fi).

• Develop and test prototypes.

• Support Software Engineers to ensure that implementation meets the design requirements.

What we look for

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

• Pursuing a degree in UX design or related field

• You will have a portfolio that shows work you are proud of

• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating design assets in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

• Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills
