What you will do
The UX Intern will be part of a web team responsible for the design of access control and video web applications. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.
How you will do it
Assist with creating design deliverables, such as user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Research real business problems and apply User-Centered Design principles to produce intuitive experiences.
Interview users to develop personas that give an accurate profile of our customers.
Develop and maintain wireframes and specifications (both lo-fi and hi-fi).
Develop and test prototypes.
Support Software Engineers to ensure that implementation meets the design requirements.
What we look for
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing a degree in UX design or related field
You will have a portfolio that shows work you are proud of
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in creating design assets in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
