Data Services Support Representative Client Services & Technical Support
San Francisco, California Description SS&C Advent, the leading provider
of automated solutions for investment professionals, is seeking a
talented individual to join the Data Services Support team. The position
is for a Support Representative, supporting the Advent Custodial Data
(ACD) service, and is based in San Francisco. ACD is a market-leading
custodial data aggregation service that electronically collects,
consolidates, and delivers custodial data to SS&C/Advent clients. ACD
enables our clients to efficiently retrieve and compare information that
is collected from hundreds of custodians, brokers and other sources,
with information that is in their SS&C/Advent solution. With efficient
reconciliation, SS&C/Advent clients can maintain accurate cash and
securities balances, reduce settlement risk, generate client statements
more quickly and ensure compliant trading. In addition, they can
cost-effectively grow their business with the flexibility to add new
accounts and custodian relationships. Job Responsibilities * This
position works closely with our clients to assist with the addition or
removal of accounts from the ACD service. * Actively consult &
communicate with clients regarding the details associated with new data
setups activity in a timely manner. * Follow up on pending requests and
resolve issues as they arise. * Work collaboratively with our data
partners and other teams at SS&C/Advent to ensure client needs are met.
- Continuously monitor cases & communicate status updates to
internal/external constituents as appropriate. * Effectively document
customer and data partner interactions within Salesforce cases and
email. * Strong emphasis on supporting & promoting teamwork & keeping
management informed of areas where processes may be improved. * Using
knowledge of SS&C/Advents organization to maximize effectiveness as a
resource for clients. Qualifications Requirements * 1-2 years of
experience in customer-facing or client service organization. *
Experience in a financial services back office or operations
environment, or other experience demonstrating the ability to process a
high volume of requests with great accuracy. * Experience using
Microsoft Office tools and Salesforce. * Required individual
characteristics include: * Impeccable written and verbal business
communication skills. * Strong technical and analytical aptitude with
the ability to quickly learn and adopt methods for tracking customer
requests. * Passion for improving customer and internal workflows- able
to effectively provide ideas on resolving complex work streams. * Strong
business skills and ability to quickly understand business processes. *
Self-starter. * Strong client focus and professional demeanor. *
Team-oriented; ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
and roles. * Ability to balance and manage multiple, competing
priorities while maintaining accuracy. The following qualifications are
strongly advantageous and preferred: * Bachelor's degree. * Experience
within financial services utilizing technology. * Knowledge of the
financial industry, including different domestic and foreign financial
instruments. * Previous support or client services experience. *
Previous experience using a CRM to track tasks and client requests.
